One of the hardest things about travel is worrying about other people when your baby is screeching at 35,000 feet or throwing Cheerios into the air at a restaurant. Keep in mind that “bad” baby behavior is much more noticeable to you than to others. Even if a fellow passenger is looking at you, there is no way to know what she is thinking. Yes, she might think you are a terrible parent and that babies should be left at home. Or, she might be feeling badly for you or simply thinking that your baby is cute. Stop trying to mind-read and focus on what you need to do to make your trip enjoyable for you and your little one.
